								This Functionalist style Helsinki hotel from 1952 showcases traditional Finnish design. Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is ideally situated just across the street from the main railway station and the Finnair airport bus terminal.

Purpose built for the 1952 Olympics this majestic establishment offers a stately elegance typical for that era. Some rooms still have convex shaped doors, original Finnish wall art and several intact 1950s features.

The hip restaurant Loiste is located on the 10th floor, enjoying spectacular views of Helsinki. Loiste also has a children's play-area, where kids can enjoy themselves while parents dine or enjoy their morning coffee.

Restaurant Kaarre is a great private restaurant, also beautifully located above the rooftops.

Facilities

								Cancellation Policy: If cancelled  up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled  later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
Up to two children under 16 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 8 % VAT is included.
Service charge is not applicable.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs  EUR 26.00 per  day.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
