Hotel description

								Guests are entitled to use the exclusive Spirit Health and Leisure Club free of charge.  The centre is open from 07:00 to 22:00, 7 days a week. Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, a hot whirlpool, a steam room, saunas, a large modern gym, a solarium, a private fitness assessment room and a beauty department.

The Lifestyle Spa is located in the Spirit Health and Leisure Club. The spa offers a range of treatments for the face, hands, feet, eyes and body. Luxury beauty spa packages also available.

The hotel has 7 purpose-built meeting rooms that can cater for all requirements, including private dining. The hotel’s conference facilities can cater for anything from 2 to 180 delegates. Each room features natural daylight and most of the rooms can be fully blacked out for presentations and projections. The smaller rooms on the first floor are excellent for interviews while the Roundhay Suite offers 247 m² of exhibition space.

								On the hotel’s ground floor, the Boccagrande Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boccagrande is a European-style restaurant. The setting, food and atmosphere are colourful and exciting. The menu reflects the décor with influences from countries all around Europe. The menu also features some hearty Yorkshire favourites.

Snacks and light bites are also served all day on the mezzanine. 

The Roundhay Bar & Lounge on the hotel’s mezzanine floor offers Starbucks’ coffees, light meals and snacks all day. There is a large plasma flat-screen TV showing all the major sporting events. The bar is also a great place for an informal meeting, a relaxing coffee, pre-dinner drinks or after-dinner liqueurs.

Room service is available 24 hours a day, with a number of healthy options available.

Location

								The hotel is situated in the heart of Leeds city centre, close to all that the city has to offer. All of Leeds’ great shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are within easy reach. You could enjoy a cocktail at Harvey Nichols or in the Mojo Bar in between visiting some of the city’s great shops. Alternatively, you could catch a show at the newly refurbished Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House or at the City Varieties Music Hall. You could watch anything from a musical to a comedy show to an opera or you could visit the city’s newest nightclub, Oceana.

The hotel’s impressive central location also means it offers easy access to the city’s transport network, making it a great base from which to explore the region. The beautiful Yorkshire countryside is only 30 minutes’ drive away.

How to get there

								The hotel is located on Wellington Street, in the heart of Leeds city centre. The convenient central location means the hotel offers easy access to Leeds’ inner ring road and the M1, M62 and M621 motorways.

By Car (from the M621 motorway):
- Leave the M621 at junction 3 and follow the signs for the city centre for approximately one mile (1.6 km).
- Then follow the signs for the inner ring road and the airport.
- The hotel is on the left-hand side.

Parking:
The hotel has its own private car park and parking is available for guests’ use at an additional cost.

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 12 miles (19 km) from Leeds Bradford International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 20 minutes. 

Manchester Airport is approximately 65 miles (105 km) from the hotel. The train journey from the airport to the hotel should take about one hour and 10 minutes.

By Train:
The hotel is approximately 0.3 miles (0.5 km) from Leeds railway station. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. The station provides connections to London, Southampton, Bournemouth, Plymouth and the south, Birmingham, Leicester and the Midlands, Bristol and the West Country, Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh and the north, and Manchester and Liverpool and the west, as well as to local and regional destinations. It is also the hub of an extensive MetroTrain commuter network.

								Cancellation Policy: If cancelled  up to 2 days before date of arrival,  no fee will be charged.
If cancelled  later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
One child under 19 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included.
